Nicus Hicks, originally from Ames, Iowa moved to Ithaca, NY in 2019. Nicus started woodworking with hand tools, and quickly leveled up to woodturning, a passion for the last year. He enjoys making functional items, especially from fun woods and using new techniques. You'll likely find him playing commander in the store on Saturdays, and the rest of the time he'll be knee deep in wood shavings.
