In a Salvage Free-for-All (SFFA), each player receives two salvage boxes from which they select one mech to be used in a 3-5 player free-for-all match, and the other 'mech goes into the prize pool for that match.
The winner of each match gets first pick from the prize pool, as well as an extra prize (usually a bonus salvage box).
